How to Level Up your Clan in Call of Duty: Ghosts

The question I get asked most frequently is ‘do you have to be playing with another Clan member to be able to earn Clan XP?’ The answer is yes.

Below you will see a breakdown of how Clan XP is allocated and what you can do as a Clan member and Clan Leader to maximize on this.

**To be earning Clan XP you must be playing with at least one other registered Clan member**

There are 3 ways you can earn Clan XP:

1.   Playing in multiplayer game modes

2.   Competing in the Clan v Clan mode

3.   Participating in the Clan Wars

MULTIPLAYER MODES:

For a win each Clan member earns 50 Clan XP, with the most that can be earned in one match being 300 Clan XP.
For a loss each Clan member earns 10 Clan XP,with the most that can be earned in one match being 60 Clan XP.

CLAN V CLAN MODE: (4 players max)
For a win each Clan member earns 100 Clan XP, with the most that can be earned in one match being 400 Clan XP.
For a loss each Clan member earns 20 Clan XP,with the most that can be earned in one match being 80 Clan XP.
CLAN WARS:

The XP earned in Clan Wars is the same amount as in multiplayer modes but with one difference.

If your Clan has captured a ‘node’ you will be receiving bonus in-game XP every time you play in that game type. This can vary from 15% – 30%.

To further understand how the Clan Wars works please see Clan Wars. This will walk you through the entire process.

HOW TO MAXIMISE ON YOUR CLAN XP:

There are a couple of ways to ensure you are earning the most amount of Clan XP each time you are playing with your Clan members.

1.    Break up the usual lobbies of 6 players and team up in groups of 4 to compete in the Clan v Clan mode. Instead of having two lobbies of 6 players running earning a collective of 600 Clan XP for a win each, you will have 3 lobbies of 4 players running earning a collective of 1200 Clan XP.

2.    Whenever possible play in the game modes that you’re Clan has the in-game bonus XP active for the Clan Wars.

If you chose to play by yourself with randoms or friends that are not in your Clan you will only be earning XP for yourself and not the Clan. So get to know your Clan members and add as many as you can to your friends list.

As a Clan Leader you should be actively reminding and encouraging this to ensure that all possible Clan XP is being achieved. I also recommend setting daily/weekly XP targets for your Clan to encourage them to play together and work towards a common goal.

Each Clan Level increases by 5000 XP. Depending on the size of your Clan and the frequency in which they play, you should be able to achieve approx 5000 XP per day.

If the next Level you are trying to reach requires 35,000 XP to achieve, you should be able to all focus on reaching this goal within one week based on the above figures.

As you progress through the Clan Levels you will unlock Gold Clan tags at Level 11, and Red Clan tags when you reach maximum Clan Level 25.

The other colored Clan tags that you see around the place:pink, green, purple, are hacked. This can only be done by the Clan Leader. So if your Clan has these different colored tags you may want to speak to your Clan Leader about the image that this is projecting of your Clan.

I hope you have found this information useful.
