This year’s slate now includes Star Wars: Battlefronts. EA confirmed that they will be showing more of Battlefronts this summer to show what sort of progress has happened since last years sneak peak. This was confirmed over an investor call with EA CEO Andrew Wilson to discuss projects that Electronic Arts has working.
What we do know is that EA has exclusive rights to publish games for Disney’s newly acquired franchise. Battlefronts is said to be using DICE’s newest Frostbite engine that has been seen in titles such as Battlefield 4 and Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare. EA is also expecting a Summer 2015 release for the franchise.
Other titles are expected to be in development at EA’s BioWare and Visceral Games studios.
