Destiny Gets Three Collector’s Editions

Today for Bungie Day, a lot of awesome announcements were made. First we got the Beta dates included with a new trailer. Now we also get the much anticipated collector's edition; best part is there are three options!

When Destiny launches, gamers will have two [physical] options to pick from at two different price points. Destiny Limited Edition for $99.99 and Destiny: Ghost Edition for $149.99, and both will be available for pre-order.

Limited Edition Folio

Both the Limited and Ghost Edition’s will include:

  • Limited Edition Steelbook case and game disc
  • Guardian Folio
    • Arms and Armament Field Guide
    • Postcards from the Golden Age
    • Antique Star Chart
  • Collector’s Edition Digital Content Pack
    • Unique Ghost Casing
    • Exclusive Player Emblem
    • Exclusive Ship Variant
  • The Destiny Expansion Pass [$34.99 bundled]
    • Expansion 1: The Dark Below [$19.99 individual pricing]
    • Expansion 2: House of Wolves [$19.99 individual pricing]collectors Edition

The Ghost Edition will also include an awesome replica of a ghost with motion-activated lighting and voicing of the in-game voice actor Peter Dinklage. There will also be included an assortment of photo’s, stickers [and possibly physical badges] of Golden Age Relics.

Full Ghost Edition

If you plan to purchase the digital version of the game, Bungie hasn’t forgotten about you either. Digital pre-orders of the Digital Guardian Edition will include all of the previous stated digital items and passes. All of these will come almost at a discount of $89.99.

It is worth noting that the PlayStation platforms will be able to get access to all expansions to the game possibly up to the Fall of 2015. Xbox platforms will have it ready, but just not able to be played until then.

Destiny is slated for a September 9th release on the PlayStation 3 & 4 as well as the Xbox 360 & Xbox One.
