More cars announced for Forza Horizon 2 and dev details

Only a week after releasing the list of the first 100 Forza Horizon 2 cars out of what will be over 200 cars, we now have an additional 16 that have been confirmed.

Many of these cars were chosen with a ‘Heritage’ theme in mind and all have been built for this generation on Xbox One.


The New additions to the game are:

1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ2


2011 BMW Z4 sDrive35is


2002 Ferrari Enzo Ferrari


1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 427

Forza Horizon 2 on the Xbox One will be using the same engine that powers Forza Motorsport 5, however the 360 version will be using the same engine as the original Forza Horizon.

Playground Games is in charge of development on the Xbox One, and Sumo Digital will be developing the 360 version.

There will be NO microtransactions at launch and there will be a new feature using the Kinect for an on-board digital assistant known as ‘ANNA’.
