New Custom Jordan Sneakers Have HDMI Ports

You are watching your favorite basketball team, probably the New York Knicks. I mean, who doesn't like the Knicks? So it's just me? Cool,  we are in play against the Boston Celtics.

The Celtics defense is currently ineffective and Carmelo Anthony is putting up bucket after bucket. He’s got 60 points in the middle of the 3rd quarter and the announcer screams, “He’s putting up video game numbers!”

The above scenario could happen if you were playing the new NBA 2K game in your brand new pair of JRDN 4 X PS4’s! Yes, just when you thought Michael Jordan didn’t need another pair of shoes, he get’s one! Now, while Jordan and Nike actually have very little to do with this shoe, if anything at all, his brand is only the second big draw here. The JRDN 4 X PS4 will feature a HDMI port on the back heel of each shoe. The ports will be non-functional but will allow you to attach a HDMI cable to them in order to lug the shoes around and show them off.

You might ask how the design for these shoes came about. Jonny Barry of Freaker Sneaks happens to be a huge supporter of Sony’s latest PlayStation 4 console. Barry says that he was inspired to create these shoes after buying the PS4 console on Launch Day. Stating, “The price is unconfirmed as of yet, but will probably be around $950 USD for the total package.” He is also anticipating a limited run of 10 pairs of the new JRDN 4 X PS4’s when they are finally released.

A new release of Jordan’s Nike shoes typically cost around $200 USD during it’s launch. Almost five-times as much nets you a pair of non-functional HDMI port shoes! While that is a little too rich for a non-working item that will more than likely never be utilized, there is little question that these bad boys will sell out.

For clarity, these sneakers are not official Jordan brand sneakers nor have any affiliation with parent company Nike.
