Black Tusk is recruiting – must have experience in development on Xbox 360? Do I smell #TheMarcusFenixCollection?

The last few days has seen a surge of speculation in the gaming community about the possible development of The Marcus Fenix Collection.

Firstly we had the ‘mistake’ retweet from Phil Spencer, then a mass of other speculative pieces from various websites and of course the petition to get the collection brought over to the Xbox One.

Now we have a recruitment drive happening at camp Black Tusk with one of the requirements being that you must have ‘PS3 or Xbox 360 development experience’ and ‘The Gameplay Generalist SE will be part of a team developing systems related to gameplay and player interaction for the Gears of War franchise.

Black-Tusk-StudioSo are they planning on making Gears of War 4 available on the Xbox 360 OR do they need these developers to work on ‘The Marcus Fenix Collection’?

What are your thoughts? Halo 5 and The Master Chief Collection are not being developed for the Xbox 360 so why would Gears of War 4 be?

So that leaves us with the most likely conclusion being that developers are needed to work on the current Xbox 360 build of Gears of War 1, 2, 3 and possibly Judgement.

  1. I think they’re just looking for experience. It is a new developer and all. Still, I’m hoping for that marcus fenix collection!
