Far Cry 4 is the sequel to the critically acclaimed & #1 rated shooter of 2012, Far Cry 3.
Far Cry 4 takes place in the fictional Himalayan region of Kyrat, which is ruled by the self-appointed king Pagan Min, who just happens to be voiced by the (legendary) voice actor Troy Baker.
In the single-player portion of Far Cry 4, the player assumes the role of Ajay Ghale, who is returning to his homeland to fulfill a dying wish of his mother. When you arrive in Kyrat, you find out that there is a civil war going on between The Golden Path and Pagan Min’s Royal Army.
Far Cry 4’s gameplay is very reminiscent of Far Cry 3, which isn’t a bad thing as the gameplay in FC3 was pretty damn good.
Here’s a fun fact for ya, this is first Far Cry game in which the protagonist is native to the setting.
