WARNING: Some spoilers will occur if you keep reading. If you don’t know anything about the story line of Ori and the Blind Forest and want to keep it that way until you can experience the game for yourself then do not read on or watch the linked video, thank you.
Ori is a white guardian spirit who fell into the forest and was adopted by a ‘bear like’ creature that raises Ori as her own. When Ori’s mother makes the ultimate sacrifice to keep her beloved child alive and instead starves herself in order to feed him, Ori is forced to explore the forest on his own. This is where you come in.
I don’t think I have ever had as strong an emotional response to gameplay as I did to what you are about to watch. Everything from the atmosphere, to the artwork to the story telling is exquisite. If you are a bit of a softie like I am I suggest having some tissues ready before you watch this, enjoy.
This is my most anticipated indie and whilst we have no release date as of yet we know the Xbox One version will arrive early in 2015, and you can be sure I will be there from day one!
