Dragon Age: Inquisition Patches and Updates Incoming

Winning Game of the Year at the Game Awards 2014 wasn't enough for BioWare, great things are coming in for Dragon Age: Inquisition.

These are the big details on what is going on for Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Patch 2 will include stability and fixes to the following:

  • Stability – Various crashes, freezes, audio/voice glitches, and many stability improvements.
  • Gameplay – Conversations, quests, plot states, combat, UI, camera, controls, follower/enemy AI and path finding, exploits, radar, and search.
  • Multiplayer – In addition to some of the gameplay improvements listed above, multiplayer fixes also cover areas such as animations, game mode bugs, stat reporting, and stability/crash fixes.
  • PC – Numerous control & UI fixes, fixes to some hitching, improved Mantle performance, graphical glitches.

Specifically BioWare is targeting to fix issues for the PC port with the mouse as well as stability issues across all platforms.

BioWare also points out that they are aware of the feedback that they have been receiving from the community in regards into future content. They plan on adding content that was not met at the deadline for launch for the mulitplayer portion of the game. Some gamers were concerned at the limited amount of maps, currently at three. BioWare is planning to release constant updates, yet it is not confirmed on if this will be DLC, microtransactions, or provided to the gamers for free as free updates.
