Autobots lets game? New Mad Catz controller looks suspiciously like a transformer

Day 1 of the Consumer Electronics Show 2015 (CES) has wrapped up and there will be plenty more from us on some of the key announcements made.

To being with though, let’s start with something fun.

Today at CES, Mad Catz has unveiled their new ‘Transformer’ controller called ‘L.Y.N.X’.

Controller 1

A hybrid controller that can transform into various ergonomic variations. The L.Y.N.X is compatible with PC, and the majority of smart phones and tablets and will set you back 300$ US.

The $300 hybrid controller transforms (like an actual Transformer) into several different ergonomic variations, sharing compatibility with PC and most Android devices, including phones and tablets.

The Mad Catz description reads:

Your Way to Play

You no longer need a gaming console to get an authentic gaming experience. L.Y.N.X.9 is like an all-access pass to the premium gaming content on your Android smart devices. Play on a smartphone during your daily commute, a tablet during your lunch break, and even on your HDTV when you get home. With more features than a full-size gamepad but less than half the bulk, L.Y.N.X.9 fits in your pocket and plays everywhere you do.controller 3
