Over the past couple of days, the internet has run rampant with the probability of a Gears of War collection which has been named the Marcus Fenix Collection by many fans. While this is a very beloved franchise, it does appear that Microsoft and Black Tusk are sticking to their words and declaring that there is not a Marcus Fenix Collections in the works.
This could be just another tale of fans looking too far into something that is not there. While many have refused to take no for an answer it is hard to completely deny the massive want for this title from the Gears of War fanbase.
However, not all this news is bad. We do know that Black Tusk is currently developing Gears of War 4 and there have been rumors than multiple Gears of War projects were in consideration to be made. With Ferguson’s statement of “other exciting Gears projects” being stated, there is a chance that more than Gears of War 4 being developed.
We also could take a chance to say that maybe they are denying The Marcus Fenix Collection because it might be named something different. Who knows? Looks like we will have to wait to E3 to get further into the ‘know-zone.’
