Aprils Games with Gold have been announced and there is no fools’ gold to this

Games with Gold have been announced for the month of April. This one seems like it was there to fool you but the folks at Xbox insist this is the real deal. So in other words, NO April Fools on  you, just great games!

This month the Xbox One will get the pleasure of receiving two new free games. Typically there are always two free games available, but one will be a lingering game from the prior month. Child of Light, developed by Ubisoft, received superb reviews for it’s storytelling, artstyle and gameplay. And of course, who doesn’t want to play some virtual billiards with friends who cannot make it down to the local pool hall?

* Pool Nation FX ($9.99 ERP): Available all month on Xbox One

* Child of Light ($14.99 ERP): Available all month on Xbox One

The Xbox 360 really shines with month with four games total. The first half of the month you will be able to play the Gears of War: Judgement and indie hit Terraria. The last half of the month features Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag and Army of Two: The Devils Cartel. All of these games of which feature superb online components to play with your friends.

* Gears of War: Judgment ($19.99 ERP): Available from April 1-15 on Xbox 360

* Terraria ($14.99 ERP): Available from April 1-15 on Xbox 360

* Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag ($29.99 ERP): Available from April 16-31 on Xbox 360

* Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel ($19.99 ERP): Available from April 16-31 on Xbox 360

Why focus so much on the community of online play? Well Xbox Wire states that the company wants to celebrate the Xbox Community for the month of April. The games offered are meant for you to play with friends and enjoy and celebrate the community.
