Black Ops 3 details you probably missed in the trailer! Details revealed

Well, there has certainly been a flood of Call of duty information come out this morning. Obviously the most pivotal piece of information is the confirmation that the next installment will be called Black Ops 3, followed by a teaser trailer.

What you may not know yet though is all the hints that were hidden with in that trailer. To follow all these clues has taken me quite some time this morning so to save you the same hassle I have broken them down for you.

To start with the official description for Black Ops 3 has been revealed on the Call of Duty site:

“Call of Duty®: Black Ops 3 is the first title for next-gen hardware in the critically acclaimed Black Ops series. Developed by Treyarch, the award-winning creator of the two most played games in Call of Duty® history. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 deploys players into a dark, twisted future where a new breed of Black Ops soldiers emerges and the lines are blurred between our own humanity and the technology we created to stay ahead, in a world where cutting-edge military robotics define warfare. With three unique game modes: Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies, it providing fans with the deepest and most ambitious Call of Duty ever.”

Now moving onto the trailer:

The first notable thing is some very memorable quotes from Black Ops 1 & 2 used during the course of the trailer.

“This should help you remember everything.” Black Ops 1 reveal trailer

“The numbers Mason, what do they mean?” Black Ops 1, Jason Hudson

“Everything you know, is wrong.” Black Ops 1 trailer

“Your life will be consumed by absolute loss.” Black Ops 2 Raul Menendez to Sgt Frank Woods

“He doesn’t need his own weapons, he’s got ours.” Black Ops 2 Admiral Tommy Briggs

“They’ll always need men like us.” Black Ops 2 Sgt Frank Woods

“Our greatest barrier is our own fear. Our own doubts. The only thing holding us back is how far we are willing to go.” Unknown source, presumably from Black Ops 3

During all this chatter some very interesting details are revealed and you have to look damn close to catch them:

1.300° N, 103.8° E – These coordinates lead you to New Town Primary School in Singapore

30.0500° N, 31.2333° E – these coordinates lead you to the 6th October Bridge in Cairo, Egypt. A commemorative bridge of the battle of “The Crossing”. The start of the October War in 1973.

We know of a new character in Black Ops 3 from all of the snapchat clues, Dr. Salim. Given this is an Arabic name could it be possible this is where you receive your treatment in the campaign?

Then we have these very odd hieroglyphics and the number 115 appearing 3 times indicating that yes, we are most certainly getting new Zombies as expected.

47.3667° N, 8.5500° E – these coordinates lead you to the Gefängnis prison in Zürich, Switzerland.

Then there is this knife, which if you look very closely you can see it has Mandarin symbols ‘engraved’ into it.

Now we have the Trident logo that we can recognize from the image of the lone tree in the snow that was the image in yesterdays daily message on Black Ops 2.

So there we have it. That’s an awful lot to think about, and gives us an idea of the setting for either some of the campaign or perhaps where some of the multiplayer maps may be set as well. As always, as more information surfaces I will be sure to let you know.
