Rumors: Did AMD’s CEO accidentally reveal Windows 10 release time?

One of the biggest news stories for the PC over the last few months have been the talk of Dx12 and Windows 10. Microsoft already made plans to release the new operating system over the summer but it seems that we may now know when in the summer that will be.

Lisa Su, CEO of AMD stated in a quarterly call

With the Windows 10 launch at the end of July, we’re watching, sort of the impact of that on the back-to-school season, and expect that it might have a bit of a delay to the normal back-to-school season inventory build-up

While this is nothing more than assumptions, there is a chance that these companies know a bit more than the rest of us.

For those who did not know Windows 10 is going to be free for anyone with Windows 7 and higher, regardless of it’s legality. Currently, many Windows users have been testing out Windows 10 with a preview build.

Maybe there is a chance that Microsoft is going to be planning more of an announcement soon, especially in regards to it’s highly touted DirectX 12 that has been taking many Xbox and PC news articles by storm.
