Black Ops 3: All the details you have been waiting to hear!

This morning the official reveal of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 occurred providing us with confirming of if there will be exos, a beta, what platforms it will be on, and much, much more.

Firstly, the burning question is: “Is there going to be Exo-suits”?

Answer: No. That should definitely make a lot of people happy.

Now onto the beta, according to a video from Drift0r, the beta for Black Ops 3 will kick off after Gamescom, roughly 1-2 months before the launch date and will last for 1-2 weeks.

The start of the story line sees you go to investigate why a CIA site in Singapore has gone off the grid. This is a location we have seen a lot of reference too in the snapchat teasers that have been coming out over the past couple of weeks.

Treyarch has also confirmed four out of a total of nine specialists so far:

  • Ruin
    • Power Weapon: Gravity Spikes – takes out nearby enemies with a powerful shockwave
Ability: Overdrive – gives players a burst of speed for a short period of time
  • Seraph
    • Power Weapon: Annihilator – high-caliber revolver that instantly kills any enemies in the bullet’s path
    • Ability: Combat Focus – temporarily adds a multiplier to score in order to help players rack up score streaks
  • Outrider
    • Power Weapon: Sparrow – compound bow featuring explosive bolts that stick in enemies
    • Ability: Vision Pulse – senses where nearby enemies are and highlights them for a short period of time
  • Reaper
    • Power Weapon: Scythe – transforms Reaper’s robotic arm into a powerful mini-gun
    • Ability: Glitch – teleports the player to a position from a few seconds before

Wall running will be very prominent so those that have played a lot of Titanfall will feel right at home in Black Ops 3. You will still be able to play ‘on the ground though’ without having to use the jet pack packs to get around.

For the PC gamers, the minimum specs for you will need have already be provided:

Black Ops 3 will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on November 6th 2015 and is available to pre-order now.

It is however, important to note that there is a disclaimer that says platforms and release date can change, so we may very well still hear about a release for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 down the track.

If by some chance you haven’t seen the trailer yet, here it is:
