For those trying to get their baseball fix on the Xbox One or Windows PCs, now have another option besides the mediocre R.B.I. Baseball 15. The highly rated baseball game of 2014 from indie developer Metalhead Software, is finally making its way to Xbox One & PC via Steam this summer as Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings.
With the Extra Innings release, 2 new stadiums, on top of a good number of new features and improvements. Don’t worry if you already own this game as you will get everything available in Extra Innings for free, developer Metalhead Software has said.
If you are looking for a simulation-style of baseball title then this is not the game for you, but if you’re just looking for an outstanding baseball game and don’t care that SMB: EI is an arcade-style of game, then this is the game for you.
I don’t know about you but I’m excited for this release since it got raving reviews last year when it was released on the PS4 & PS3 and I really wanted to play it. Hell, Polygon called it their sports game of the year in 2014.
No release date or price has been released, but for comparison sakes the PS4/PS3 was $20.
