As a dedicated player of destiny and someone who focuses most of my time on the story side of the game, very little gets my heart thumping as much as this. Today on the Bungie stream they announced private matches, finally, a feature that the destiny community has been clamoring for since day one.
Along with this announcement came a showcase of new armor, new weapons, weapon skins and some new Crucible maps. Three for everyone and an extra map for the PlayStation guardians.
So let’s discuss Private matches and the options you have for them:
The custom game options include the gamemode, the map, the score limit, light level, time of day, time limit and vehicles. This thankfully offers a lot of freedom and ability to play some awesome private games for fun and bragging rights.
It’s worth noting that all of this, including private matches is only available on the current gen systems PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Bungie has recently announced that Rise of Iron wouldn’t be coming to last-gen and this could very well be a big part of why.
There was also a recent announcement of a Destiny collectors edition that includes the base game and all expansions including Rise of Iron for a $60$ price tag. Make sure to stay posted to playbackgaming.net as we will be covering all of the latest Destiny news.
