A yearly subscription will now cost $60 instead of $50, a three-month plan will now be $25 instead of $18, but the monthly price will stay the same at $10 a month.
This will be the first price increase since Sony introduced the service back in 2010.
Sony stated on the PlayStation Blog that this price increase is due to “the current market conditions,” but also went on to say that members will “continue to enjoy the benefits and features that enable shared experiences, such as online multiplayer, free games and exclusive discounts.”
The new pricing will go into effect on September 22nd.
