This Week in New Releases (Week of 08.29.16)

A new week of releases is upon us. Check out what games will be releasing this week.   (These releases are accounted for North America only. Also, this is a complete list of every release.)

August 30th

World of Warcraft: Legion (PC)

Legion is the newest expansion in the long-running MMORPG, World of Warcraft. Legion begins about 2 years after Warlords of Draenor and will be in the Broken Isles. It has been said that Legion will feature more voice acting than of any of the previous WoW expansions.

The Witcher III: The Wild Hunt – Complete Edition (PC, PS4, Xbox One)

What can be said about The Witcher III: Wild Hunt that already hasn’t been said before? If you haven’t gotten around to playing this stellar open world RPG, now would be the best time since this complete edition is now available as you get the full game plus both expansions to go along with the 18 pieces of free DLC that CD Projekt Red released throughout last year (2015), all for only $50. This was my personal pick for GOTY last year and is arguably my favorite game of all-time.

Fallout 4: Nuka-World (PC, PS4, Xbox One)

Nuka-World marks the end of Fallout 4 as it is the sixth and final piece of DLC for Fallout 4. Your character has to be level 30 to access this expansion. For those would don’t own the season pass Nuka-World will be $20.

Attack On Titan (PC, PS4, PS3, PS Vita, Xbox One)

Based off the popular manga & anime, Attack On Titan retells events of importance from the first season of the anime. The gameplay reminds me of God Of War’s hack-n-slash style of gameplay.

Resident Evil 4 (PS4, Xbox One)

Capcom has decided to release the classic Resident Evil 4 on yet another platform, because why not? If you’re like me and still have yet to really play it, you should probably quit procrastinating on playing through this game, and play it, lucky for us it’s only $20. Interesting fact about RE4, it pioneered the “over the shoulder” camera angle we see in 3rd  person perspective games, and we should also just say it popularized this as well.

Well, there weren’t that many titles that caught my eye this week, but regardless I sure hope that you’ve got your money ready. Be sure to enjoy whichever game(s) you decide to spend your money on, and as always, happy gaming!!

Also, don’t forget to check out this month’s Games With Gold & PlayStation Plus freebies to go along with Ubisoft’s free game for PC gamers.
