2016 marks the 20th anniversary of when Lara Croft made her debut on the original PlayStation, so it’s only fitting that Rise of the Tomb Raider finally releases on the PS4 this year. Originally released last year on both Xbox One & Xbox 360 as part of a timed exclusivity deal and earlier this year it was released on PC. This 20 Year Celebration Edition will include all of the previously released DLC.

Konami is releasing a definitive edition of Metal Gear Solid V, which we all expected to happen sooner or later. You will get both Ground Zeroes & The Phantom Pain in one convenient package and on one disc. Besides the two games you get will various DLC extras & bonus for Ground Zeroes, The Phantom Pain & Metal Gear Online, which Konami has detailed on their website.

Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour (PC, PS4, XB1)

Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour is a remastered version of the original game that was originally released in 1996, and will include a new episode as well, which is being done by the original creators of this game. On top of that, the original composer has composed new music for this brand new fifth episode being made for this remaster. Even Duke Nukem’s original voice actor, Jon St. John, has returned to record more lines for Duke. Needless to say, this is a remaster done right. I am disappointed that this isn’t getting released on the Vita, though.

Also releasing this week:

PlayStation VR (PS4) – October 13th

Disney Magical World 2 (3DS) – October 14th

Well, this week has a nice, solid selection of games releasing, so I hope that you’ve got your money ready. Be sure to enjoy whichever game(s) you decide to spend your money on, and as always, happy gaming!!

Also, don’t forget to check out this month’s Games With Gold & PlayStation Plus freebies as well.
